This past weekend, Lesley, Ellie, and Shauna participated in the 10-kilometre Cancer Research Shine Light Walk in Newcastle, raising awareness and funds for cancer research. Despite the dark skies and very damp weather they came together for a vital cause, showing their commitment to supporting life-saving research.
The atmosphere, dark yet lit up by their matching bunny ears and skirts, kept everyone warm and cosy for all of the 10km. The walk symbolised not just a physical challenge but a unified effort to contribute to crucial research that has the potential to change lives.
Our support for cancer research charities is crucial in filling funding gaps, advancing treatments for all types of cancer, including rare forms, and accelerating the discovery of new therapies. Charitable donations ensure that groundbreaking research continues, providing critical help for patients and families. This makes treatments more accessible to all!
